eBreviate releases new auction software
eBreviate, a business unit of EDS's consulting subsidiary A.T. Kearney, released updated versions of its online auction and request for proposal (RFP) software on Wednesday, integrating the two programs for the first time. The new software uses XML to export data created for an RFP into an online auction and speed the setup time for such auctions. Some of eBreviate's auction and RFP customers include Volkswagen, the U.S. Navy and Procter & Gamble, each of which use the software to communicate and negotiate with their suppliers.
