Cyrano gets a whiff of cash

Cyrano Sciences, an electronic nose and sensory information software company, is expected to announce Monday it has received a $23 million investment round from Rustic Canyon Group, which served as lead investor. Other investors include Ridgestone, the Sandoz Family Foundation, and previous investors such as Oak Investment Partners. Cyrano designs and develops software that can mimic how humans smell. In addition, the company collects and analyzes data for use in the chemical, oil, medical and food industries.
