Computer Sciences said Wednesday that Gulfstream Aerospace has agreed to outsource management of its information technology services to the professional services company. The two companies signed a deal last month and approximately 220 Gulfstream employees joined Computer Sciences on Dec. 29, as part of the agreement. Under the 10-year, $510 million deal, Computer Sciences will handle maintenance of Gulfstream's mainframe and desktop systems and will develop and maintain applications for the business-jet manufacturer. Computer Sciences has a long-standing outsourcing deal in place with Gulfstream parent General Dynamics.
