Online auto exchange Covisint named consulting veteran Lars Olrik to be managing director of its European operations. Olrik, 39, joins Covisint from management consultancy Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, U.K., where he was vice president of European business-to-business consulting practice focused on the automotive industry. Covisint, which was founded by auto giants DaimlerChrysler, Ford Motor and General Motors, is a central marketplace for parts auctions and project collaboration over the Web.
