Alcohol-free partiers are invited to join Steve Mann on the Net as he roams around the streets of Boston on New Year's Eve.
Mann developed a helmet he calls The Wearable Wireless Webcam that will allow viewers to see what he sees. The helmet sends a signal to Mann's server at MIT, which sends the images over the Net.
The First Night organization promotes an alochol-free environment on New Year's Eve by encouraging museums, parks, and theaters to offer discounts across the country on that night.
