Where to find the Most Recent feed in Facebook for iOS

Facebook likes hiding the best feed in its app from you, but I'll tell you where to find it.

By now it's obvious the last thing Facebook wants you to do is view your Most Recent feed. After removing the option to switch between the standard news feed and the coveted most recent feed from Android, the social giant recently upgraded its iPhone app and introduced the same prohibitive feature.

The silver lining here still makes it possible for you to access the most recent feed, but it takes some work each and every time you launch the app.

  • When viewing your feed, tap on the More button in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

  • Scroll down until you find a section titled Feeds. Under this section you'll find a listing of a random feed (read: not most recent), but rest assured you're in the right spot. Tap on the arrow to the side of the section's title, then select Most Recent from the list. It took me a number of times accessing most recent before it was listed as the main feed.

The next time you launch the app, you're going to have to follow these same steps in order to view your most recent feed again. Shameful.
