Watch Deadpool narrate his own parody video

Deadpool gets raked over the coals from the actor who plays him -- Ryan Reynolds -- in this Honest Trailers video. He's not called Marvel's Merc with the Mouth for nothing.

Deadpool is the kind of anti-superhero who puts the punch in punchlines. So it's especially apt that he's not only the subject of a parody video, but that he takes part in it as well.

Honest Trailers -- a YouTube series from Screen Junkies that features a classic movie-trailer voiceover but with a narrator who makes fun of films in the most hilarious way possible -- skewers the new action movie "Deadpool" with the help of its leading man, Ryan Reynolds.

According to "Honest Trailers -- Deadpool (Feat. Deadpool)," the hit movie has out-grossed other superhero movies including "Thor," "Captain America," "The Amazing Spider-Man," "Guardians of the Galaxy," "Batman v Superman" and every "X-Men" movie.

Of course, kudos aside, that doesn't mean this blockbuster gets away without Honest Trailers throwing a few jabs such as "Suit up for the R-rated movie you had to be 17 to see, but 16 to fully appreciate" and "what feels like a really expensive, longer episode of 'Family Guy.'"

Even the description of the movie's main character is brutally honest. He's a "wise-cracking indestructible psychopath who will do anything to get his fiance back except talk to her, which would have been way too easy."

Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool also gets in a few "honest" remarks about the movie's adult humor might influence other films.

"So when Aquaman starts throwing out sperm whale jokes, you'll know who to thank," Reynolds as Deadpool says in the video.

Reynolds as Deadpool has plenty to say about his own movie, but well, let's just say there's a lot of obscenity bleeping going on. You'll just have to Wade through the video (get it?) and see for yourself if Deadpool's jabs at everything from superheroes to YouTube celebs are worthy of laughs.
