Twitter said Monday that it is rolling out a new look for the Twitter.com Web site. The new design, which now comes with a white navigation bar, was inspired by the company's iOS and Android applications.

Members will notice that the left-hand side bar has been made over a bit. Here, you'll now find your header photo pictured in the upper left-hand corner, as well as a new style for the Who to Follow and Trends sections listed underneath. The tweaked design also allows users the option to add an accent color to their profile, the company said.

It should come as no surprise that Twitter is bringing over more of its mobile constructs to the desktop. The company reports that 76 percent of its users are accessing Twitter from their mobile devices each month, which means the mobile interface has become a familiar one for its overall audience of more than 230 million people.
