Sybase unveils data integration tool

Database software maker plans to introduce a bundle of software that gives access to data from a range of sources from one tool.

Database software maker Sybase plans to introduce a data integration suite on Monday, to enable customers to access real-time, historical and outside data from disparate databases via one tool. The Sybase Data Integration Suite bundles together four existing products: Sybase Replication, Sybase Data Federation, Sybase Search and Sybase Real-Time Events.

The company said it plans to make the Data Integration Suite 1.0 generally available during the fourth quarter this year. Pricing information has not yet been released.
