SportsLine scores wireless deal

SportsLine.com, an online publisher of sports information, says it has inked a deal with Nextel Communications to deliver sports news, scores and related schedules to subscribers of its wireless Web service. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Through the partnership, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based SportsLine.com will expand its presence to mobile phones in the United States after an extensive push in European markets through its subsidiary Sports.com.
