Sports Illustrated cover debuts online

Sports Illustrated will debut the cover of its popular swimsuit edition on CompuServe two days before it hits newsstands next week.

The CompuServe release will occur Monday, January 22, at 8 p.m. ET and will be followed an hour later by an online press conference with the cover model and Sports Illustrated senior editor Jule Campbell in the CompuServe Convention Center.

The unveiling of the cover model and the press conference following will be available simultaneously at Time Warner's Pathfinder Web site.

Articles and photos from this year's swimsuit issue will be available online on Wednesday, January 24.
