Short: TV stations' sites are not effective

A study found that television stations do not use the Web effectively. TeleWeb Publishing, a research firm in Pacific Palisades, Calif., analyzed 400 sites for one year and reported that the TV stations' sites are static, too promotional, untimely, not interactive, offer little added value, and do not advertise enough.
