Short Take: Wayfarer pushes corporations

Webcasting software maker Wayfarer Communications has announced a program to allow companies to compare various "push" technologies from advertising-based vendors such as PointCast and BackWeb to its own Incisa product. Incisa is designed to let corporate managers gather and distribute data directly to employees' desktops. The company says it is the only Webcasting product to offer security encryption and authentication. Pricing starts at $5,000 for 100 seats.
