Short Take: Virgin, Wavo update music delivery service

Internet music delivery company Wavo and Virgin Entertainment Group have expanded their Virgin JamCast service, which delivers music directly to consumers' hard drives. JamCast's multicasting technology allows consumers to work on their personal computers or surf the Web while music files are delivered through the background and played over a live Internet connection. The technology has been expanded so that people who do not use multicasting-compatible Internet service providers can still access the service.
