Short Take: Pretty Good Privacy claims victory in RSA suit
Encryption software maker Pretty Good Privacy says a California state court has handed it a victory, ordering archrival RSA Data Security to settle a longstanding licensing dispute through arbitration. RSA sued PGP in May, seeking a court order barring PGP from using RSA's technology. The ruling effectively puts RSA's suit on hold.
