Short Take: Phone giants add maps

Three telecommunications giants added Vicinity's YourTown Interactive Maps to their Web sites. Ameritech and GTE have completed integration of the maps into their interactive yellow pages. Users can search for a business and then generate a detailed, interactive map of business' location. US West will have the service up and running on their site in January.
