Short Take: New York Times launching education site
In another move aimed at expanding its Web page, the New York Times Electronic Media Company is launching an education Web site with curricula based on the contents of its own newspaper. The lessons, geared toward 6th through 12th graders, will be free. They will include dictionary definitions from Merriam Webster and information from Microsoft's Encarta multimedia encyclopedia.
