Short Take: New features shipped to Disney Daily Blast members

The Walt Disney Company is mailing a CD-ROM to its Disney Daily Blast members featuring D-mail, multimedia email with animated stickers and sound. Users also are being told that by installing the new features they will get to play "fast games against real live opponents" and will be "invited to chat with celebrity guests in our new auditorium." As previously reported, these upgrades were expected and are part of Disney's strategy to make its online service for children more interactive and community-oriented.
