Short Take: Netscape readies communications center

Later this week, Netscape Communications is expected to announce the release of a communications center on Netcenter, said Mike Homer, executive vice president and general manager of Netcenter. The announcement will be part of Netscape's online billing initiative, in which it will integrate transaction and billing services into its Web browser and portal. Homer would not elaborate.
