Platinum Entertainment, the largest independent record label, said it will offer its entire music catalog online from its new Web site, HeardOn.com. The site will launch a roster of holiday standards Dec. 15. As incentive for new artists to upload their songs to the Web site, HeardOn will offer $250,000 each quarter to the artist whose songs are downloaded most frequently.
