Short Take: Lycos Asia launches Malaysian portal

Lycos Asia, a joint venture between Web portal Lycos and Singapore Telecom, has launched , a Web site featuring local news and content, home page building and free email services presented in the Malay language. Lycos said it has plans to launch additional regional sites throughout the Asia-Pacific in coming months.
