Short Take: Judge announces Sun vs. Microsoft schedule

U.S. District Court Judge Ronald Whyte has set a revised schedule for hearings on Sun Microsystems' motion for a preliminary injunction that seeks to stop Microsoft from bundling a non-native version of the Java programming language with its software. Both parties must submit witness lists by August 31. Evidentiary sessions will be held September 8-9, and the actual hearing has been moved from September 4 to September 10.
