Short Take: Japanese version of Excite launched

Excite has launched a Japanese edition of its search engine in an attempt to expand into that market. The site lets users decide whether they want to search exclusively for sites in Japan or the entire Web. Other regional Excite sites include Germany, Sweden, France, and the United Kingdom.
