Microsoft will on December 21 release a beta version of its Internet Explorer 5 browser for Hewlett-Packard's Unix operating system. The browser will incorporate various "look and feel" aspects of HP-UX's interface. Microsoft launched a beta version of IE 5 for the Windows and Sun Solaris platforms last month.
