Short Take: Corel jazzes up Web-based email

Corel wants to spice up Web-based email. At the Comdex trade show Tuesday, the company unveiled Corel e-Too, a Java applet for adding sticky notes, maps, stock quotes, weather forecasts and other graphics to Web email. Corel also is positioning it as a marketing tool for online content providers and merchants looking to distribute Web material, such as book reviews and weather forecasts, via email.
