CompuServe seeks to entice members to its service by offering a free trial membership period for its Web-based service, "C," which is debuting at some point later this month. The membership period will last two months and is open to Canadian and U.S. citizens. Nonmembers will still be able to access information on the service, but only members will be able to contribute to the bulletin boards.
