Short Take: AOL faces another user lawsuit

Two Seattle lawyers said today that they have slapped America Online with another lawsuit on behalf of subscribers, claiming that the company has not provided proper access to the Internet. The attorneys filed the suit, which seeks class-action status, on behalf of Robert Hancock, an AOL customer from Seattle. It is the latest in a growing list of class-action suits against AOL since it restructured. Swelling membership has multiplied dial-in traffic so that it is often difficult to connect up to the Net.
