Short Take: 56-kbps dial-up access coming to Northern California

The Grid and West Coast Online will offer 56-kbps dial-up Internet access on a local call basis from cities throughout Northern California. The ISPs, which are the first to offer 56-kbps service, will use PacWest Telecomm's Incoming Telephone Service.
