Short Take: 3Dlabs files suit against STB Systems

Graphics chipmaker 3Dlabs has sued STB Systems for breach of contract over $1.2 million worth of chipsets. The lawsuit, filed in Santa Clara County Superior Court in California, alleges that STB has not yet paid for chipsets it purchased, and "seeks declaratory relief with regard to certain controversies" between the two companies. A spokesman for STB, which makes accelerator boards and video drivers, declined to comment.
