Washington Post CEO says blogging takes us back to the roots of newspapers with one-man operations like Ben Franklin's.
Wall Street Journal writer Jason Fry, in his highlights Wednesday from The Wall Street Journal's D: All Things Digital conference, quotes newspaper publishers grappling with industry changes such as the growth in blogging.
Donald Graham, CEO of the Washington Post Company, said blogging "takes us back to the roots of newspapers," with one-man operations like Ben Franklin's. In the blogging world, there's "one person who's Ben Franklin, and 100,000 people who think they're Ben Franklin," he said, according to Fry.
