The free Prince Online Museum showcases almost 20 years of official and unofficial Prince websites.

An archive of Prince's official and unofficial websites has launched as a free online museum. The Prince Online Museum currently features seventeen of The Purple One's websites, with the oldest dating back to 1994.

Easily browsable on a timeline, each site has its own profile page with a brief summary about it. The content of the sites ranged from lyric books for albums and merch stores, to artsy video projects. Some have a short Q&A with the webmasters, designers and other creatives who helped put each website together, and most are fully restored and explorable.

While you can visit the websites through the museum, links for purchasing merchandise and music have been taken down. If you're just interested in listening to Prince's music online, you'll have to look elsewhere.
