Microsoft today announced alliances with several telcos and a program designed to get Windows 95 users on the Internet at speeds up to 128 kbps through ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) connections.

As part of the program, Microsoft has created a "Get ISDN" page on its Web site that gives users information on ISDN access from MCI, Sprint, Ameritech, Bell Atlantic, BellSouth, US West Communications, and other telcos. Users can then order ISDN service from the participating companies from the Microsoft site and download new ISDN access software for Windows 95, called the ISDN Accelerator Pack. Future versions of Windows 95 will include the ISDN software.
