Listen.com settles patent suit

Digital music company Intouch Group says it has reached a settlement in a patent infringement lawsuit filed against online music company Listen.com. Berkeley, Calif.-based Intouch sued Listen.com, Muze, Amazon.com, AOL Time Warner's former Entertaindom site, Liquid Audio and Loudeye Technologies' DiscoverMusic, accusing them of infringing its patent covering a potentially wide range of music for downloading and streaming. Liquid Audio and Amazon also agreed to settle with Intouch earlier this year. Entertainment information company Muze also resolved its suit with the company.
