See Kristin Chenoweth belt out the 'Game of Thrones' theme song

With sword in hand, the Broadway star sings her version of a song worthy of a king or queen sitting on the Iron Throne.

"Game of Thrones" fans love the theme music written by Ramin Djawadi for the TV show's sweeping opening-credits sequence.

Broadway actress Kristin Chenoweth loves the series so much she treated the audience at "Jimmy Kimmel Live" to a rendition of what she thinks the "Thrones" theme song would sound like with vocals.

In the video, Chenoweth sings operatically while holding a sword above her head with the series' opening title credits shown behind her. It's a glorious sight watching Kimmel looking nervous when she points the sword at him while singing.

This isn't the first time fans have gotten a vocal rendition of the theme song. Earlier this year, "Game of Thrones" cast members including Maisie Williams, Natalie Dormer, Sophie Turner and Emilia Clarke added lyrics to the show's theme song with hilarious results. Gwendoline Christie contributed some smooth dance moves as well.

Even comedian and musician Weird Al added a few lyrics to the "Game of Thrones" theme song, pleading with author George R.R. Martin to write faster, when he performed at the 2014 Emmy Awards.
