As Twitter made the big announcement on Thursday that it is filing for an IPO, it's hard to believe that just eight years ago the massive social network didn't even exist.
Jack Dorsey, one of Twitter's founders, is known for posting relics from the social network's early beginnings on his Tumblr blog. A couple of years ago, he posted a 2006 IM conversation between himself and another Twitter founder, Biz Stone. The conversation reads somewhat like a founding document of the company.
