IBM launches free sports news service
IBM has teamed up with ESPN's SportsTicker to provide free sports news via the Web.
IBM and ESPN's SportsTicker information service, in partnership with Dow Jones & Company, have announced the addition of sports news to the IBM infoMarket NewsTicker.
The new sports news service scrolls real-time sports headlines across desktop and laptop computer screens. Users click on the headlines to get full-text versions of the stories.
You can download NewsTicker from the IBM infoMarket home page and access articles with most Windows-based browsers. Macintosh versions of the software are currently under development.
