Hunt for Treasure on CompuServe

Quit buying those lottery tickets, and sign up for CompuServe--at least that's what the online service hopes you'll do. CompuServe is sponsoring a cyberspace scavenger hunt with $1 million in prizes, including a Nissan sports car.

The contest, which starts this Friday (July 14) and is scheduled to run through October 27, calls for participants to seek out corporate Web sites using clues supplied by CompuServe.

CompuServe has already corralled CMP Publications and DealerNet, a consortium of car dealers, into sponsoring the treasure hunt.
