Yahoo's email redesign not only removed a lot of beloved features, but ceased functioning properly for many users, including deleting contacts, removing sent emails and failing to send emails in a timely fashion.

If you're a Yahoo user on the web, though, there's a way you can restore your inbox to the way it was before — whether it's because you hate the new look, miss the old features or simply want your email to, you know, work.

First, click on the gear icon in the top right corner of your screen and select "Mail Options".

On the next screen, look for "Advanced Options" on the bottom of the page. Here, you have the option to select either "Full featured", which is the new inbox, or "Basic". Select "Basic". This will restore the old inbox.

When you're done, make sure you remember to click the "Save" button on the top right of the page. This will save your changes and restore the old inbox.

And, if you have a change of heart, you can change it back really easily; on the front page of your inbox, you can click "Switch to the newest Yahoo Mail" to change it back over.

Enjoy your new (old) inbox.
