How to request new Pokestops and Gyms in Pokemon Go

Want to play Pokemon Go but live in an area lacking the game's virtual landmarks? You can change that.

Pokemon Go is best played in an area that provides the means to level up, gather eggs, potions, balls and what have you. But if you live in an area with few Pokestops or Gyms to conquer, the game quickly loses its appeal. As Kotaku first reported, the developer of Pokemon Go, Niantic, is accepting requests for new Pokestops and Gyms through its support site.

You'll need to visit this support page and fill out a form to submit your request, and even attach a photo. Note the form only gives you the option to request a business as a new Pokestop or Gym, not a home. There's a good reason for that: Just imagine how annoying it would get if people were camped outside your home at all hours of the night. (The form also gives you the means to report unwanted landmarks.)

There's no guarantee your request will be approved, but if nothing else you'll at least draw attention to the lack of playable spaces in your area.
