As the colourful tiles of Windows 8 ooze onto PCs around the world, search giant Google is concerned that you might be swayed by the system's fancy new Internet Explorer 10 (IE10) browser and its incessant suggestions that you search the web by using Microsoft's Bing. It wants you to "get your Google back".
In what seems to be a pretty desperate move, Google has made a video for YouTube, showing how to download its shiny new Google Search app and not-so-shiny old Chrome browser, and how to give them a prominent position on your new Windows 8 home screen. It even shows you how to set Chrome as your default web browser, so you can forget about IE10 altogether.
Happily, Google uses The Jackson 5 as the audio track, so the video is fun to listen to, even if its message is like a passive-aggressive post-it note from an ex-girlfriend or boyfriend.
