Google really wants to be sure you remember to vote Tuesday.
There's much at stake in this year's election. In addition to a tight and ferocious race for the White House, there are 165 propositions on the ballot in 35 states, affecting more than 200 million people in the US, according to Google.
Google's Tuesday doodle: Get off the couch and into the polling booth.
GoogleOn Sunday, the web giant launched the first in a series of doodles intended to remind you about Election Day. While cute, Sunday's doodle also links to information about the measures and candidates on your specific ballot, where you can vote and even how to vote in English and Spanish. Tuesday's animated doodle served as a reminder that Election Day had arrived and that you'd better be sure to fit voting into your schedule.
When the polls close later on Tuesday, Google will integrate real-time US election results into your Google search results in more than 30 languages.
The tech giant isn't the only one working to raise voter awareness. Facebook is also reminding its users to vote by offering to help plan out their ballot with a tool available on the social network.
So whether you are voting for a specific candidate -- or as W.C. Fields said-- against one, be sure to get out to vote on Tuesday.
