The Westeros gang gets a 'Too Many Cooks'-style opening

Yep, you knew it had to go there. Adult Swim's "Too Many Cooks" parody has been pulled into the dark world of the HBO hit fantasy series "Game of Thrones." Like GoT, this video is NSFW. Also, spoilers.

Warning: For those of you who aren't caught up on "Game of Thrones," the video above contains spoilers (as well as copious amounts of violence). Watch at your own discretion.

Anyone who has watched the HBO hit fantasy series "Game of Thrones" knows that way too many people want to sit on the Iron Throne and become the king or queen of the Seven Kingdoms.

Arizona high school student Alex Cohen released a video to his YouTube channel that takes Adult Swim's excellent " Too Many Cooks," which parodies VHS-era TV opening credits, and brings it into the worlds of Westeros and Essos.

In the clip, basically every character who has a pulse (and even some who don't) appears on-screen alongside their names while the upbeat "Too Many Cooks" theme song plays in the background. From Ned Stark and Robert Baratheon to Littlefinger and Tyrion Lannister, all your favorite (and not-so-favorite) characters are present and accounted for in this over-the-top opening theme.

It just goes to show how many characters there are in "Game of Thrones," and how complicated the battle for the Iron Throne truly is. You can check out the video for yourself at the top of this post. Admittedly, some of the editing is pretty rough, and after awhile everything just kind of devolves into scenes of violence, bloodshed and mayhem -- you know, things found in abundance in "Game of Thrones." Well, those and gratuitous nudity, of course.
