Ousted Groupon CEO Andrew Mason wants to drop some knowledge on the younger generation, so he recorded an entire album of songs about "business wisdom."

Mason is known for having a sense of humor so he's probably joking (let's hope he's joking). Otherwise prepare yourself for seven songs of "motivational business music targeted at people newly entering the workforce," according to his blog entry posted Thursday.

More importantly, Mason is ready to move on to a new gig. He's creating a startup and will mentor startup newbs at Y Combinator. He didn't provide any details on what this startup will do, but plans to unveiling it this fall. He is moving to San Francisco later this summer to get things started:

I feel very lucky to be alive at a time when someone like me can have a simple idea like Groupon that ends up impacting millions of people. If there's a silver lining to leaving Groupon, it's the opportunity to start something new. I've accumulated a backlog of ideas over the last several years, my favorite of which I'll be turning into a new company this fall.

As part of this, my wife and I are moving to San Francisco later this summer. We both love Chicago and while this next chapter in our lives is taking us elsewhere, we're not planning to sell our current home and expect to visit often. Chicago is developing quickly as a technology hub, and I hope to continue to find ways to support the amazing community of entrepreneurs here.

Groupon forced Mason to resign in February. The daily deals company, which Mason founded, saw early success, leading to mammoth growth and an early IPO. But since then, the company has struggled and the shares have plummeted. Clearly, you want to take business advice from this guy.

While setting up his new startup Mason is also going spend one day a week at Y Combinator for the next several months. Maybe he'll just play them something from his album, "Hardly Workin'".

"I came to realize that there was a real need to present business wisdom in a format that is more accessible to the younger generation," he wrote. "It was with this in mind that I spent a week in LA earlier this month recording Hardly Workin'...These songs will help young people understand some of the ideas that I've found to be a key part of becoming a productive and effective employee. I'm really happy with the results and look forward to sharing them as soon as I figure out how to load music onto iTunes, hopefully in the next few weeks."
