AOL names new mobile chief
AOL Time Warner's America Online division has named Lisa Hook as its new head of AOL Mobile. Dennis Patrick, her predecessor, will become a senior advisor to AOL unit CEO Barry Schuler. Hook will spearhead AOL's wireless strategy by pursuing partnerships and overseeing daily operations. The executive changes come one year after Patrick was tapped to head what was then known as AOL Wireless. Before joining AOL, Patrick served as the chairman of the Federal Communications Commission.
