American Express card holders can now book their flights without a travel agent by reserving and paying for their tickets via the Internet.
The Travel Express Web site provides departure and arrival times for 38 U.S. and foreign airlines and lists prices for domestic and international flights, any of which can be booked right on the site without any additional service fees.
Travelers must use their American Express cards to pay for the flight but can either send encrypted account information or simply reserve the flight online and call customer service to finish the transaction. Tickets are sent through the mail.
The site also includes vacation specials and information about the aircrafts themselves, including speed and weight.
