Londoners can now turn to Amazon for yet another fast delivery option: restaurant meals.

As with the US service that started a year ago, UK customers of Amazon Prime, which costs £79 annually, can use the Amazon Now same-day delivery to get meals delivered in an hour with no additional charge, according to a report on Bloomberg. The online retailer's delivery competition includes Deliveroo and UberEats, which started its UK service in June.

Amazon launched fresh food delivery in the UK in June by partnering with the Morrisons supermarket chain as well as with 50 small, local shops including Paxton & Whitfield, Gail's Artisan Bakery and Konditor & Cook.
