24-hour fax service launched online

SpectraFax launched a 24-hour fax broadcast service via the Internet.

SpectraFax today launched a 24-hour fax broadcast service via the Internet designed to save users money on long distance phone charges.

Registered users can transmit fax broadcast jobs over the Internet to the company's SpectraFax Service Bureau FTP site, which then distributes faxes via phone lines. Users save money, according to the company, because the Service Bureau schedules fax delivery at non-peak hours.

The company also lets users modify original copies of outgoing faxes stored on the Service Bureau's servers via the Internet.
