Vodafone's January sale is on now, and offers money off SIM-only deals as well as handsets.

His pride and joy is an Infocus projector, whose 80-inch picture elevates movie nights to a whole new level.

More sales news: Vodafone has started its January sale, knocking 25 per cent off SIM-only deals, uSwitch reports. 1,200 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of data can be yours for just £13.60, down from £16. A still very reasonable £16.80 a month will get you unlimited texts and calls, along with 1GB of data. Previously, that would've cost you £21 a month.

Voda has dropped the price of some of its handsets, too. Though it's worth noting these offers only apply to its 3G service, so 4G is off the cards. Denied.

If you're more of a heavy user but still want SIM-only, you can pay £20.80 a month for unlimited calls and texts with 2GB of data, or with 4GB for £23.25.

Now, the handsets. The stellar HTC One will set you back just £33 a month, down from £37 pre-sale. Nokia's wallet-friendly Lumia 625, meanwhile, now costs just £17 a month, with 300 minutes, unlimited texts, and 250MB of data.

The deals are live from this afternoon, and last until 4 February. Should brighten up the usually gloomy January somewhat.

Phone 4U's sale starts on Boxing Day, with Motorola's Moto G leading the charge. Buy it from the high street phone flogger, and you'll get £200 cashback. Not bad at all. You'll also get cashback for shelling out for the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini or Sony Xperia SP, though exactly how much cash you'll get back on these will be revealed on the day itself.

If it's other types of gadgets you're after, the Currys & PC World sale starts tonight online. There are savings to be had on a range of products, including the Fujifilm XF1 camera, as well as a host of white goods. The sale kicks off at 7pm tonight online, with stores slashing their prices from Boxing Day.

Amazon's Appstore has got in on the sales action, too. It's giving away two app bundles worth nearly £40 on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. It's part of the Appstore's 'free app of the day' promotion, which gives you something for nothing every single day. Tomorrow, you'll be able to download the Kindle Essentials bundle, which gives you -- among other apps -- Printershare Mobile Print for wireless printing, and Photo Studio Pro, for photo editing. On Boxing Day, the Greatest Hits bundle includes a bunch of top apps from Amazon's 'free app of the day' promotion, including Business Calendar (for syncing your Google calendars) and games like Ultimate Hangman HD.

What's the best deal you've seen in the sales? Will you bag yourself a bargain this January? Let me know in the comments, or on our everything-must-go Facebook page.
