Verizon will reportedly unveil 'More Everything' plan Thursday

New plan to offer more data at no extra cost, doubled bandwidth, 25GB of cloud storage, and unlimited international messaging, according to a DroidLife report.

Wireless carriers' salvos in the battle for subscribers have been coming fast and furious lately, and it looks like Verizon Wireless is getting ready to launch a new attack.

The US wireless carrier will unveil a "More Everything" plan on Thursday that promises customers more data at no extra cost, doubled bandwidth, 25GB of cloud storage, and unlimited international messaging, according to a reference guide obtained by DroidLife. Subscribers who participate in Verizon's Edge program also will see discounts on line access, according to the report.

According to the reference guide, the shared data on the $40 plan doubles from 500MB to 1GB, the $50 1GB plan doubles to 2GB, and the $60 2GB plan jumps to 3GB. Edge participants on a plan with 8GB or less of data will receive a $10 discount on their line, while subscribers on 10GB or higher plans will receive a $20 line discount.

Verizon declined to comment on the report, promising to offer "more tomorrow."

The move is part of the cutthroat effort to win over new customers and retain existing ones in a sector where there are fewer subscribers up for grabs. Recently, T-Mobile has targeted its rivals' family plan customers, offering to buy out their early termination fees. Meanwhile, AT&T has been steadily offering up a number of incentives to switch carriers, including a temporary promotion that offered to pay T-Mobile customers up to $450 to switch wireless services.
