Aside from the 2-megapixel K750i, Sony Ericsson recently launched its Walkman W800i phone, to much fanfare in Sydney with Australian Idol Anthony Callea showing up for the occasion. Nokia set sail to its high-end 8800 by inviting 88 Australian celebs along to a lavish bash at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Circular Quay, with guests such as fashion designer Collette Dinnigan and chef Tetsuya Wakuda being served up an assortment of cocktails made by barman of the year Marco Faraone. With the continual raising of the bar in terms of showy shindigs for fashion phones, we wonder if Motorola will trump the other manufacturers when the 3G-enabled Razr V3x, which is already the fourth most popular phone on our site, is released later this year? Motorola Razr V3x Based on the design of the Motorola RAZR V3, the slightly thicker V3x is a 3G-enabled handset with a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth and an MP3 player. I think 96mb is plenty of space for what I need -- I don't want/need to be carrying around 400 songs on my phone, nor do I expect to take award winning movie footage of anything with it.
